I don’t know about yall, but I am appreciating Raphael Saadiq’s album The Way It Is more and more each day. Maybe it’s because Ray Ray’s new take on a classic sound is so grown and tasteful. Maybe it’s because his style is head and shoulders above the competition. Maybe it’s because his November 18th homecoming show at The Fox is fast approaching. Or perhaps it’s that he keeps making fresh artful videos that make your youtubery look like digital macaroni art.

His latest video for “Staying in Love” is beautiful, crisp and mature while still emanating a vibrant youthful energy. If you’re a bit slow on the uptake, I love this video, and can’t wait for the 18th. See you there!
