Intersection 4 the Arts’ 2008 Hybrid Project Festival of New Works

The Living Word Project and Intersection for the Arts are proud to present two weekends of special preview performances in the Raising the Curtain Series. Curated and directed by Youth Speaks Artistic Director, Marc Bamuthi Joseph, these new shows search for the next aesthetic in performance, form, and style.

Week 1: December 11, 12 & 13 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday)
Featuring Denizen Kane, Mayda Del Valle, and Lauren Whitehead
With Kicole Klaymoon, Soul Nubian, Amara Tabor-Smith

Week 2: December 18, 19 & 20 (Thursday, Friday, Saturday)
Featuring Jason Mateo and Jose Vadi
Including a section from the new play created from Junot Diaz’ book The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao presented by Campo Santo and Intersection for the Arts.

All shows start at 8pm
Tickets $15-$25, Thursdays are “Pay-What-You-Can”
