img-netta-brielle_114750285272.jpg_artist_detail_heroWhen word got out that Netta B. had been signed to Atlantic Records, the sense of pride, hope, and excitement from those who’d watched her over the years was evident. Always down to collab, she’d been featured on tracks with a number of Bay Area artists. She’d rocked many local stages – sharing her passion for music and giving performances infused with flavors of the 80s and 90s music that inspired her. The sweet, super cool chick, with a love for family, friends, community, and Janet Jackson, was about to finally get a real shot at her dream and she had the Bay behind her.

Fast forward to the release of T.I.’s Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Head. Netta Brielle belted out “Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible, tells me so,” on his track “Hallelujah” and the reality of Netta having a deal with a major label became extra real. Now, she’s gearing up for the release of her new mixtape, Will You Go With Me. Two tracks have already dropped, and her takes on SWV’s Rain, and Mint Condition’s Breakin’ My Heart (Pretty Brown Eyes) are on point (listen to all four below). There’s also the two-part video presented by Singersroom called Introducing Netta Brielle.

We’re happy that everyone is finally getting a chance to know the Netta Brielle that the Bay has been rocking with for years. Check out the video to her first single and download her mixtape below!
