Cre8tiveClass Apparel and Lifestyle Company embodies what it means to be young, hungry, and adventurous in Oakland, CA. While it may seem like everyone and their mother has an upstart clothing line these days, C8C has established itself as a legitimate Bay Area brand with a global following. Their notoriety is due in part to the branding savvy and solid design work of their Creative Director, Daghe Digital, but C8C also appeals to folks by striving to jump start creative minds and feed rebellious spirits. Cre8tiveClass produces street apparel, but is also peddling an unorthodox state of mind that welcomes us to change our city and the world by tapping into our own creativity. It reminds me of the following quote by Howard Thurman:
“Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”
Today (Thursday, June 13) at noon, www.cre8tiveclass.com will reopen the online shop with an opportunity to buy pieces from the 2013 summer line. T-shirts, bucket hats, coin purses, snapbacks, and socks are among the items in this particular release–so there is a little something for everyone. If you can’t get to a computer, work in a cash-only industry, or just love to party, C8C will also be hosting a pop-up shop with dope art and free wine Friday night for the 18+ crowd (details at bottom).
To tide you over, take a look at some exclusive shots from the look book shot by the honorable Mancy.
Show up online on Thursday at noon and show out in person on Friday at 7p!
