“Overworked and underbooked,” is how Moe Green describes himself in “Glory.” If you’ve ever met dude, you know that his work ethic is real. But it doesn’t take running in to him on one of his many sleepless nights to know that he’s always working, just check the discography. From the number of quality tracks to tales of hours spent outside the studio funding the dream, it’s clear that what folks refer to as the grind is indeed his life.

In the midst of working on a new project, Moe Green released the Free Water EP. The seven-song offering is a mix of old and new tracks  including his latest single featuring Atlantic Records signee Netta B. “Glory,” tells the story of being on the verge of greatness, of feeling like all the hard work is about to pay off, and that the days of being “overworked and underbooked,” are close to over. It’s also about taking that step towards greatness. When Netta sings “I can’t fly with one foot on the ground,” you just might get inspired to make that leap, whatever it may be.
