She was out to give a more complete and complex look at love and life through her eyes. Conversations with reporters revealed a woman who was tired of hiding layers of herself in order to avoid looking like a manufactured and over-sexed music industry byproduct. Now that Goapele is ready to come out and play, you get a new song that is worthy of your baby-making playlist, without the raunch, with a vibe that’s liberated enough to make you try something new in the bedroom– or elsewhere.
